At first, we were hesitant. With good reason. Weird organic-mechanical beings that just landed in the grey deserts. They approached us and talked about weird resources they wanted that we had no idea existed. Apparently they were called gemstones, found deep within the ground, and since we had no need for them, we reluctantly gave them a couple abandoned islands of our world to do what they wished with it. We were fine letting them do what they wished with that land, we weren’t going to use it, the Autumn could never spread to those islands anyways.
However... they stepped over a boundary. You see, Foxfires live for millennia easily, and so has our lands. And the Aki no Niwa had been living for a long time. According to these.. cyborgs, the best place for the gemstone resources they wanted were in the garden. We didn’t realize what they meant, but we didn’t allow them to touch the garden in the first place. That’s when the fighting started. The gemstones they wanted could help them expand their planet to others and give them full control of the enviroments. That’s what they tried to use on us to let them tear up what we had left. That if they were able to get to the gemstones below, they’d be able to develop a.. technology to give the Autumn the ability to expand.
We weren’t going to allow this, no way in all of Tenkū no Sora would we allow these.. intruders to ruin the last thing dear to our hearts. And thus, a new war began.
Why did the cyborgs not leave, you may be wondering, and to that, I could not tell you completely. However it came out at some point that there was more than just little tiny gemstones in our deep ground, the core of our world was made of this gemstone, enough to give the cyborgs universal domination in milliseconds if they could’ve gotten to it. Maybe their intents weren’t that evil, however to us, they were the devil. They wanted to kill our Autumn, to kill us and everything we needed.
